F1 25 Reaches 100,000 Sales in Germany
In August, game - the German Games Industry Association honoured the racing game F1 25 with a game Sales Award in Gold. The official game of the 2025 Formula 1 World Championship has sold over 100,000 copies in Germany.
In August 2025, game - the German Games Industry Association - awarded a game Sales Award in Gold to EA Sports F1 25, developed by Codemasters and published by Electronic Arts. The game had sold over 100,000 copies since its release on 30 May 2025 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S in Germany. No other awards were presented this month.
In July 2025, Mario Kart World (Switch 2) received a Platinum Award for over 200,000 sales. In May 2025, a Gold Award went to Elden Ring Nightreign. In April 2025, Split Fiction by Hazelight Studios and Electronic Arts received a Platinum game Sales Award for selling more than 200,000 copies, and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered by Bethesda Softworks received a Gold game Sales Award. However, in March 2025, three Platinum Awards were handed out: Assassin's Creed Shadows by Ubisoft; Kingdom Come Deliverance II by Warhorse Studios and Deep Silver, and Monster Hunter Wilds by Capcom.
The game Sales Award is presented by game, the German Games Industry Association, to recognise the best-selling computer and video games in Germany. It is based on the latest sales figures from Video Games Europe's industry panel, GSD (Game Sales Data). Titles that sell more than 100,000, 200,000, 400,000 or 600,000 copies across all platforms in Germany within the first 12 months of release are eligible for a game Sales Award in the Gold, Platinum, Double Platinum or Multi-Platinum categories.
