In December 2024, the game association honoured five games for particularly strong sales. Helldivers 2 and Super Mario Party Jamboree both sold more than 400,000 copies. Three games broke the 100,000 sales barrier.

In December, game - the German Games Industry Association honoured five games for outstanding sales performance in Germany. Two awards in the double-platinum category for more than 400,000 copies sold went to Helldivers 2 from Arrowhead Game Studios and Sony Interactive Entertainment and Super Mario Party Jamboree from Nintendo. Both titles also secured top spots in the German annual charts of the most bought new games in 2024, at number 3 and 5 respectively.

Three titles broke the 100,000 unit sales barrier and received a Gold Award. These were Dragon Age: The Veilguard (BioWare and Electronic Arts), EA Sports F1 24 (Codemasters and Electronic Arts) and NBA 2K25 (Visual Concepts and 2K).
