The strength of the Mario Party franchise is once again demonstrated by Super Mario Party Jamboree. Released in October 2024, the game has sold over 600,000 copies in Germany. Furthermore, two more game Sales Awards in Gold were awarded to Capcom and Plaion in February 2025.

In February 2025, three games are honoured with game Sales Awards from game - the German Games Industry Association. With over 600,000 copies sold in Germany, Super Mario Party Jamboree celebrates another sales success and wins a Sales Award in the highest category: Multi-Platform. By December 2024, the game had already passed the 400,000 mark and was awarded double platinum. According to Nintendo's latest annual report, the game, which was released on 17 October 2024, had sold over 6.17 million units worldwide by the end of 2024, making it the fastest-selling game in the history of the Mario Party franchise.

A game Sales Award in Gold for over 100,000 units sold goes to Plaion for Kingdom Come Deliverance II. The role-playing game, developed by Warhorse Studios, was released on 5 February 2025. It sold two million copies in its first two weeks on sale. Capcom's Monster Hunter Wilds, which was released on the last day of February, also broke the 100,000 unit sales barrier this month, earning it a game Sales Award in Gold.

The game Sales Awards are based on sales data from the Video Games Europe industry panel GSD (Game Sales Data). Titles that sell more than 100,000, 200,000, 400,000 or 600,000 copies across all platforms in Germany in their first twelve months are eligible for Gold, Platinum, Double Platinum or Multi-Platinum awards.
