Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Wins Double Platinum Award

The game - Association of the German Games Industry presented three game Sales Awards in March. Double Platinum went to Star Wars Jedi: Survivor by Electronic Arts. Two Gold Awards were also given.
In March 2024, the game - Association of the German Games Industry honoured three titles with game Sales Awards. Star Wars Jedi: Survivor from Electronic Arts has sold more than 400,000 copies in Germany since its release in April 2023, earning it a Double Platinum Award. Square Enix's Final Fantasy VII Rebirth has broken the 100,000 unit sales barrier to win a Gold Award. Super Mario RPG from Nintendo also received a Gold Award. The remake of the very first Mario RPG was released for Switch in November 2023.
So far this year, Helldivers 2 and Resident Evil 4 have won Platinum game Sales Awards for 200,000 units sold, and Anno 1800 Console Edition has won a Gold Award.
The game Sales Award honours the best-selling computer and video games in Germany. The award is based on the latest sales figures from Video Games Europe's GSD (Game Sales Data) industry panel. Titles that have sold more than 100,000, 200,000, 400,000 or 600,000 copies across all platforms in Germany in the first twelve months after release are eligible to receive a game Sales Award in the Gold, Platinum, Double Platinum or Multi-Platinum categories.
