On 23 September, Gamecity Hamburg marked the two-year anniversary of their FLINTA* meetup with a mentoring dinner. Experts from throughout the industry were matched with mentees in a relaxed setting.

On September 23, 2025, Gamecity Hamburg celebrated two years of the FLINTA* Games Meetup with its first-ever FLINTA Games Mentoring Dinner.

The FLINTA* Games Meetup started in summer 2023 as a recurring meetup. For 2025, Gamecity expanded the format into a mentoring dinner. The evening saw participants in two rounds of structured 1:1 mentoring sessions. Each mentee was matched in advance with mentors with expertise in different fields of the games industry.

The event was sponsored by PlaytestCloud. The mentors who volunteered were the following:

  • Mai-Vy Thach, PR Manager Central Europe, Capcom
  • Sinikka Compart, Producer / Dev Relations, Mooneye Studios
  • Jamie Elms, Media and Games Marketing Producer, Twin Harbour Interactive
  • Marcela Versiani Deitmers, Studio Art Director, Bigpoint GmbH
  • Anna Sieprawska, Product Manager, InnoGames
  • Annika Neumann, Co-Founder & Lead Programmer, Pipapo Games
  • Maria Lesk, Localization Director, Daedalic Entertainment
  • Jade Celestine Coffi, Senior Technical Artist, Tiny Roar

Helen Krüger, Project Manager at Gamecity Hamburg for FLINTA Games Meetup, summarized: "It was amazing to see the talent, creativity, and drive the mentees brought to the table, while the mentors were so generous in sharing their time and expertise. The closed setting and group felt very productive and comfortable at the same time. We've been organising the FLINTA Games Meetup for two years now and keep seeing new and returning faces at every event, which shows that more and more FLINTA* people are making their way in."
