Nintendos neue Konsole GameCube wird auch in Japan nicht, wie erwartet, im Juli auf den Markt kommen.

Nintendo wird die Markteinführung des GameCube auch in Japan verschieben. Entsprechende Agenturberichte wurden von Nintendo of Europe jetzt bestätigt. Statt wie geplant im Juli soll die neue Nintendo-Konsole erst am 14. September in den Verkauf gehen. Die Zeiträume für den US- und den Europa-Start bleiben hingegen unverändert. In Nordamerika soll die Konsole im November 2001, in Europa im Frühjahr 2002 auf den Markt kommen.
