The organizers' data speaks for itself: the number of visitors to Games Ground – Berlin Gaming Festival rose from 4,500 in 2024 to 6,500 this year. This year, there were 2,500 industry visitors, making the two business days one of the most important meeting places for the German games industry outside of gamescom this year. In 2024, the number of business visitors was 1,500.

"Every year, I’m reminded that Games Ground only works because people believe in lifting each other up. Our focus has always been to create a space where growth, ideas, opportunities, and visibility can flourish – and where our community, from studios and experts to players of all kinds, from Berlin and around the world, feels truly welcomed. This year showed just how powerful that spirit of openness and collaboration can be, and I’m truly humbled by what we achieved together," says Arjuna "AJ" Sath, Head of Partnerships.

The other figures now published by the organizers are also impressive: 120 exhibitors, including 72 indie studios, a dedicated XR Dungeon with 17 exhibitors and 34 experiences, and 130 speakers appearing on four stages ensured an informative and varied program.

The partner MeetToMatch also brought together 732 companies from 36 countries on site. 77 experienced business mentors shared their expertise in 84 sessions. And in the Career Ground, 90 consultations were held by 6 experts from four companies.
