With 3,423 trade visitors, the Games Industry Conference (GIC) in Poznan, Poland, set a new record. The exact date for 2026 will be announced in the coming weeks.
Compared to last year, when the GIC already set a new record, the number of visitors has increased once again. In 2024, there were 3,290 visitors. The number of talks has decreased slightly compared to last year. At the same time, however, the number of speakers has risen once again to over 300. There were some very exciting and first-class Ask Us Anything panels.
Overall, after a huge leap in 2024 in terms of the number of stages, the GIC not only managed to maintain this level this year, but also to increase it once again. For example, the number of booths also rose to 57.
Once again, a highlight of GIC was the presentation of the Central and Eastern European Game Awards (CEEGA), which we have already reported on.
