Starting mid-January, ten episodes of the gaming show Toggo GG will air on Toggo / Super RTL’s linear TV channel. It is not the first video game for kids to come from the digital realm and make it into the main program of a broadcasting station.

The first episode of Toggo GG will be broadcast on January 18. Subsequently, ten episodes will air on Saturdays at 12:25 p.m. as part of the Toggo program on Super RTL. The RTL Group channel is responding to the ongoing success of the format: Toggo GG was originally developed for the Toggo website and app to provide children with a safe media space, including gaming content.

The show is hosted by Pauline, Carsten, Juki, and Pachuco, along with the creator of Toggo. They present relevant games and discuss developments in the market.

The inclusion of Toggo GG in linear television highlights how gaming videos have become a normal part of media consumption for younger audiences and reflects the growing demand for such content. KiKA, the second major original German children’s television channel alongside Super RTL, launched the format Ansage! in mid-2023. Produced for both digital platforms and linear TV, Ansage! is created by Rocket Beans Entertainment.
