19 Categories, Lots of Attention – Submissions for Gamescom Awards Open

Exhibitors have until 25 July to register themselves and their games for this year's gamescom awards. This year there are additional categories, and the jury and audience will vote separately for the best booth at gamescom.

No gamescom without the gamescom award! This also applies to 2025. Exhibitors have until 25 July to register themselves and their games for this year's competition. Any game that is presented in a playable version in the entertainment area is eligible to participate.

This year, gamescom awards will be presented in a total of 19 categories, divided into three different groups: Arts, Platform and Global.

These include new categories such as Best Merch, as well as new voting procedures. This year, the jury and visitors will vote separately on what they consider to be the best gamescom exhibition booth.

All information on how to register for the gamescom award is available on the gamescom website. The gamescom award is being organised again this year by the Stiftung Digitale Spielekultur (Digital Game Culture Foundation).
