HoYoverse will be back at gamescom this year. The company will showcase Genshin Impact, Honkai: Star Rail and Zenless Zone Zero in special themed areas.

HoYoverse has revealed its plans for gamescom 2024, bringing Genshin Impact, Honkai: Star Rail and Zenless Zone Zero to Cologne. Visitors to Booth C-031 in Hall 6 will be able to take part in the "Travel Across HoYoverse" event. This will include gameplay and booth activities in each game's themed area. A cosplay parade and stage shows are also planned, and merchandise will be on sale.

As Genshin Impact enters its fourth year of release, HoYoverse will present Natlan, the sixth major region yet to be explored in the world of Teyvat, at Cologne. "A giant boss statue as well as themed decorations from Natlan will be featured for the first time, accompanied by cosplayers and performances on the main stage and throughout the booth area," the company says. The recently released Zenless Zone Zero, which was downloaded more than 50 million times in 72 hours, will also play an important role. "With the towering statue of Ben Bigger awaiting Proxies at gamescom's North Gate, Zenless Zone Zero, the newly released urban fantasy ARPG, is set to have a stunning debut in Cologne to showcase the vibrancy of New Eridu. Covering around 100 square meters, the Zenless Zone Zero area is inspired by the iconic cargo container aesthetic from New Eridu. (...) Every visitor can grab a special HoYoverse passport upon arrival, and those who collect stamps from activities in all three games can further redeem additional exclusive goodies."

The operator of HoYoverse is the Chinese company MiHoYo. In February 2022, the company launched its global publishing subsidiary Cognosphere, rebranded as HoYoverse, based in Singapore. The brand has released games such as Genshin Impact, Honkai: Star Rail, Zenless Zone Zero, Honkai Impact 3rd and Tears of Themis, as well as a wide range of entertainment content including anime, manga, light novels and music. Going forward, HoYoverse will continue to expand its content production, technology research and publishing operations with offices in Singapore, Montreal, Los Angeles, Tokyo and Seoul.
