'Layoffs' is not the right plan, dear readers,

for what happens at Ubisoft Germany. We have confirmed with the company that there are so called 'voluntary plans' in place through which Ubisoft wants to entice people to leave the company. So currently, no specific job is at risk. However, things will likely look differently when not enough people, from the perspective of the mother company in Paris, will take up this voluntary offer. And, not to forget, this plan is still in negotiation with the work councils at Ubisoft's three German locations, so it is unsure as of yet how this will play out.

Here are the news of the day!
