GamesMarket Daily – 27 Oct 26: DEP Nominees, Dan Ayoub, Atari, Capcom, Marta Cienkowska, CEEGAs, Pokémon Unite
Whilst the nominations for the German Developer Award have been announced, the winners of the Central & Eastern European Games Award have now been confirmed. There is also some interesting and positive news for the Polish games industry.
the awards before THE awards. As always, the German games industry gathers in early December to celebrate the best games from the GSA region at the Deutscher Entwicklerpreis (German Developer Awards), the DEP, just before Geoff Keighley presents The Game Awards. That’s in a different league, of course, but the DEP is so much more than just an award for the German industry. It’s the end-of-year gathering and, this year, hopefully the start of a positive outlook for the year ahead, in which the industry is no longer torn apart by redundancies and studio closures. That would be my Christmas wish at least.
Here are the news of the day!
