GermanDevDays Unveils Preliminary Programme for 2025
Two months before the GermanDevDays, the organisers have published the preliminary programme. The programme offers a wide range of informative talks from the field. This year's focus is on gaming podcasts.
Although there may still be changes before the event, the publication of the preliminary programme means that potential visitors to GermanDevDays can already get a good idea of what to expect at the unusual conference, which takes place on 9 and 10 July in Frankfurt. In any case, there will be numerous presentations on a wide range of topics with a high degree of practical relevance.
It's about marketing and publishing strategies, game and sound design, AI, esports and many other topics. This year, the GDD will be focussing in particular on gaming podcasts. The programme is rounded off by a total of eight intensive workshops, which can be booked separately for a small fee of 10 euros. The following topics are on the agenda: - Founding in the games industry - How we think games for people, impulses and necessities of humanistic game design - Designing motivating gaming experiences: From psychological theory to game development practice - From the landing page to campaign tracking: How to build a measurable online marketing system - Strong as a bear in stormy times - Creative Techlab music workshop with apps - You can write something like this, but you can't let anyone read it - Game design vs. extremism - what developers and studios can do
A very special highlight at the end of the first day is the presentation of the GDD Indie Awards 2025.
