The presentation of the GermanDevDays Indie Awards is one of the highlights of the event. This time, Mindlock was the outstanding winner. Solo developer Rouven Schumacher was called onto the stage three times by hosts Stefan Marcinek and Stephan Reichart.

Mindlock - The Apartment by Roof Cut Media, the company of solo developer Rouven Schumacher, won in the Sound and Story categories and was also named Best Game. This means that Roof Cut Media will receive prize money totalling €6,000.

As in previous years, Stefan Marcinek and Stephan Reichart hosted the award ceremony. Marcinek is the founder and CEO of Assemble Entertainment and organiser of German Dev Days. Stephan Reichart is the managing director of game events and organiser of devcom, but he and his team also organise numerous other events, including the German Computer Game Award. Both made a statement on stage about diversity in the industry and society.

Best Sound (music, sound, voice output) - endowed with €1,500
