Aerosoft Is the New Publisher of 42 Bits' Fata Deum

Fata Deum has a new publisher. The god strategy game, developed by 42 Bits Entertainment (Christoph Schulze), will now be published by Aerosoft under its Aerosoft Move label, rather than by Hooded Horse. It is set to launch on Steam in Early Access in September 2025.

In this god game, players must take care of their settlements and followers while competing with other gods for influence. They can choose whether to gain influence through tyranny or love as they develop their settlements, increase their following and compete with other gods. They manage their mana in order to perform miracles, shaping their settlements, followers and reality itself in the process.

Fata Deum has been added to more than 200,000 wish lists and is currently the 148th most wanted game on Steam. This is particularly impressive given that the genre is largely underserved, apart from Reus 2 and a few classics. Developed by 42 Bits Entertainment (CEO: Christoph Schulze) in Jüchen, it began life as a one-man project in 2018, receiving support from the German local government (Film- und Medienstiftung NRW) to create an initial prototype. Following a successful Kickstarter campaign in 2020, the game has grown in popularity ever since. Aerosoft and 42 Bits Entertainment will release Fata Deum in Early Access in September.
