Polaris Convention in Hamburg Almost Sold out Despite Larger Venue
Although the Polaris Convention has expanded its exhibition space by an additional hall compared to last year, most of the space for the fourth edition of the event, which will take place in Hamburg from 10 to 12 October, is already fully booked.
In response to the significant interest from exhibitors, the organising team at Hamburg Messe und Congress and Super Crowd Entertainment has decided to add an additional large hall, increasing the total exhibition space to approximately 30,000 square metres across five halls. Despite this expansion, Polaris is almost sold out and only a small amount of exhibition space remains in one hall.
The range of exhibitors is as diverse as the show itself. Alongside Adobe, Playa Games and TokyoPop, NDR and ARD will be represented by a joint stand. Around 350 exhibitors have already been confirmed. The halls will once again be filled with German creators, including Peter and Dennis from Pietsmiet, Gnu, DoktorFroid, RBTV and many more. In addition to its physical presence, Polaris also thrives on its digital reach. According to Super Crowd, in terms of interaction and user-generated content, this is on a par with gamescom.
Lukas Jureczko, Director of Sales at Polaris, said: "Thanks to the excellent work of the HMC exhibitor service, the available space is almost fully booked. However, we are offering brands various opportunities to be part of the event, even without a physical presence. As well as bespoke digital campaigns, our in-house developed Omni App provides a unique approach to gamification for targeted consumer sampling."
In addition to main partners such as Plitch from Munich and the Footprint Group from Kassel, the line-up will also include the hotel giant Radisson Blu. The Radisson Blu at the CCH will be Polaris's official business hotel this year, offering B2B customers a limited number of rooms.
