With a new format, a reinterpretation of an improvisational comedy show, the Sparkasse (Savings Bank) is entering the Twitch stage together with Jung von Matt Sports and Instinct3. The main protagonist "Sparkassen-Hänno", a character created by content creator and Instinct3 founder HandOfBlood, gets active support from comedians and other content creators.

The new format is called "Brennpunkt Beratungscenter" and we will be on the HandOfBlood Twitch channel from 6 p.m. on 13 October. The improvisation theatre plays during the last day of "Sparkassen-Hänno" in the service centre before his vacation. HandOfBlood, who has been embodying the "Sparkassen-Hänno" figure vor the financial instituten since 2021, will be visited during the stream by comedian and actor Maddin Schneider and Katjana Gerz, among others, but also by other content creators such as Sterzik, Nils Bomhoff or Milschbaum.

The new format was initiated by the three partners Sparkasse, Jung von Matt Sports and Instinct3. "After the Sparkasse's successful involvement in gaming in recent years, the next logical step for us was to have our own live format on Twitch. The current activation once again sets standards in the creative use of streaming platforms to address new target groups and combines elements of iconic TV shows from the past with the innovative power of livestream formats today," says Janine Schumann, Head of Campaign Management in the Sparkassen-Finanzgruppe newsroom.

And Kevin Claus, Client Service Director, from Jung von Matt Sports adds: "HandOfBlood's move from YouTube to Twitch is the perfect opportunity for the Sparkassen-Finanzgruppe to complement its digital innovation strategy by tapping into the gaming platform. It also takes a good deal of courage for the Sparkasse brand to dare to take on a live improv format where the content and outcome are unpredictable."

Instinct3 founder Maximilian Knabe, who goes by his real name HandOfBlood, sees this courage as a strong vote of confidence. "I'm really happy that my long-standing partner Sparkasse is so innovative and is joining me in my own development from YouTuber to streamer."
