At the beginning of November, Heiko Gogolin, co-CEO of Hamburg-based Beans Entertainment alongside Arno Heinisch, left the company. Gogolin announced this on social media.
It is unclear whether Gogolin left the company as part of the recent restructuring. In September, the production and content creation company had to announce painful cuts, even though it had managed to set up a new financing model for the show Game Two, produced by the Hanburg-based media company, in the summer.
Gogolin is an experienced journalist and media manager who joined Beans Entertainment, formerly Rocket Beans Entertainment, around ten years ago. In 2019 (in German), he was appointed managing director alongside co-founder Arno Heinisch. Before joining Rocket Beans, Gogolin was editor-in-chief of “Gee” magazine and later hosted the show Reload with DCP presenter Uke Bosse. During the 2016 relaunch of the print magazine, Gogolin worked as a freelance copy editor and consultant for GamesMarkt.
"Five years – what a wild ride! What amazing projects and shows, what incredible trust placed in me, and above all, what wonderful people! I bow my head in humility and gratitude. You know who you are," Gogolin wrote on LinkedIn.
