The Rabbit Indie Games Residency 2024 has started with six teams from Brandenburg (Germany), Chile, Nigeria and the USA. The month-long residency includes a visit to the Games Ground in Berlin.

The Rabbit, a month-long residency for independent video game developers, started today and will run until 28 November 2024 at Coconat in Brandenburg, an hour outside Berlin.

The selected teams are - Aldamami with Bloodletter (Berlin) - Deadly Crow Games with Mutter (Chile) - Chewa with The Masquerade (Berlin) - Stoked Sloth with Driftwood (Berlin) - Juju Games with Vodou - a space odyssey (Nigeria) - Aunty Games with Gourdlets (USA)

During their month-long residency, the 15 game developers will have the opportunity to work on their games, grow as a team, learn from industry experts and share their knowledge and experience with other developers. They will also take part in Games Ground and present their projects.

Supported by Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg, the residency programme offers selected participants a dedicated game development workspace, workshops, coaching sessions, excursions and team-building activities, networking and pitching events.

One of the participating teams is Aldamami, which was nominated for this year's DCP in the category Best Prototype. We talked to the four founders about their expectations of the extraordinary program.
