Leonie Wolf, co-founder of the award-winning initiative Game:in, has joined fast-growing Berlin-based indie developer Maschinen-Mensch, the team behind The Curious Expedition 2, as Senior Technical Animator.

Recently in the spotlight as co-founder of the award-winning and DEP 2023-nominated initiative against sexism in games, game:in, Leonie Wolf has taken on a senior role at Berlin-based indie developer Maschinen-Mensch: The 3D animator, who has previously worked as a freelancer, will become Senior Technical Animator. Prior to her freelance career, Wolf worked as a 3D animator and character artist at Slow Bros, Backwoods Entertainment and giantdoor.

Wolf is looking forward to being part of the Berlin team. "After some time as a freelancer with many changing projects and clients, I am very happy to have a permanent and talented team around me again. Working at Maschinen-Mensch offers me an exciting project and with the juice shop a great place to work in my new home of Berlin, as well as the flexibility to be creative in other areas of my life".

Maschinen-Mensch, which is developing The Curious Expedition and The Curious Expedition 2, is currently growing: as co-founder Riad Djemili recently revealed on LinkedIn, the development team, which started out as a two-man studio, now has 21 members.
