GameCube-Fans können bereits seit längerem mit dem Kettensägencontroller den Survival-Horror-Hit "Resident Evil 4" stilecht spielen. Hersteller NubyTech hat das ausgefallene Zubehörprodukt nun auch für PlayStation 2 angekündigt. Den Erfolg der GameCube-Version will NubyTech wiederholen. Binnen kurzem war der Controller ausverkauft. NubyTech plant die Veröffentlichung für den September 2005. In Deutschland wird Madrics Media den PS2-Kettensägencontroller vertreiben.
