The ambassadors of Women in Games organise local events, act as mentors, get involved in studios and educational institutions, and promote gender equality and inclusion in their communities. They are therefore an important backbone for Women in Games (WiG). As WiG has now announced, the partnership with Keywords Studios as a sponsor of the Individual Ambassador Programme has been extended for another year. Keywords Studios, which supports numerous studios in various areas as an external development specialist, is now a partner of the programme for the fifth year in a row.

“We’re delighted to continue our partnership with Women in Games through the Individual Ambassadors Programme. It provides a valuable space to learn, share experiences, and receive meaningful support as Ambassadors navigate their careers. In turn, Ambassadors form a global community advocating collectively for a more equitable and inclusive games industry. As we look to grow the programme’s reach and impact this year, anyone who cares about a more representative and fairer industry is warmly invited to join us,” says Athena-Maria Enderstein, Global Head of DEIB (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging) at Keywords Studios.

And Dr. Marie-Claire Isaaman, CEO of Women in Games, adds: “Renewing our partnership with Keywords Studios for a fifth year is a powerful vote of confidence in the Women in Games Individual Ambassador Programme and in the incredible people who make it what it is. Together, we have built a truly global network of advocates who are driving real change in their communities and across the industry. We are excited to deepen this collaboration and take the programme even further in the year ahead.”

According to WiG, the Individual Ambassador Programme supports over 2,400 ambassadors in 80 countries.
