IFA with Creator and Beauty Hub and Webedia and Games Ground as Partners
The consumer electronics trade fair IFA unveiled initial details about the further development of the trade fair at a kick-off event. Content creators play a major role. This is one of the reasons why IFA is cooperating with Webedia. And when it comes to games, Games Ground comes into play.
The IFA's ambitions are clear and lofty. The trade fair in Berlin sees itself as the place to be for home and consumer tech, and with this self-assessment, those responsible presented new partnerships and concepts at a kick-off event. Thematically, the IFA is focusing on the trend topics of AI, software & computing power and sustainability. The existing areas of smart home, communication & connectivity, audio, gaming, content creation, fitness & digital health and mobility are to be further developed in a targeted manner.
It goes without saying that the topic of content creators will also feature prominently at IFA. Planned for IFA 25 is an IFA Creator Hub, which will include stage areas, streaming studios and a VIP area. The Beatury Hub will also bundle the topics of fitness and digital health.
In addition to many other focal points and partnerships, two new partners stand out from the perspective of the gaming industry. Webedia will organise a variation of the successful ‘Find Your Next Game’ format at IFA. ‘Find Your Next Tech’ will bring technology and gaming trends to life.
Through a cooperation with Games Ground, IFA also wants to create a platform for indie games from Berlin. The cooperation aims to bring festival flair and gaming culture to the capital. The fact that IFA is taking place from 7 to 9 September, just two months before the actual Games Ground event, is a bit tight, but apparently not an obstacle.
"IFA is the only place where you can experience the complete picture of the electronics and tech market – compact, international and practice-oriented. Here, industry and trade can engage in strategic exchange and networking – and come into direct contact with end consumers. That exactly is what makes IFA unique," says Leif Lindner, CEO, IFA Management GmbH.
