Civ World Summit in Hamburg in Partnership With Rocket Beans TV

In preparation for the launch of Sid Meier's Civilization VII, the Xperion in Hamburg will host the Civ World Summit in partnership with Rocket Beans TV.

In anticipation of the upcoming launch of Sid Meier's Civilization VII, 2K Games has announced the "Civ World Summit". This is a live Civilization VII multiplayer showdown between five members of the community, streamed live from Xperion Hamburg. It will be hosted by Firaxis Community Manager Sarah Engel and Civilization YouTuber PotatoMcWhiskey in partnership with Rocket Beans TV. The event will take place on 8 February at 5PM CET / 8AM PT / 11AM ET and is expected to last between six and seven hours. Tickets are also available. Xperion is located on the 4th floor of Media Markt (formerly Saturn) in Hamburg, Mönckebergstraße 1, 20095 Hamburg.

In addition, 2K Games, Firaxis Games and Intel have announced a collaboration on CPU and GPU optimisations, including XeSS (upscaling) support. Sid Meier's Civilization VII will be available for PC and consoles on 11 February 2025. Buyers of the Deluxe Edition will be able to get their hands on the game five days early.
