Nordmedia will provide almost €280,000 in funding for four games. Digital Cauldron from Marklohe and 1000 Orks from Osnabrück will receive the two largest grants.

In the second round of funding for 2025, the nordmedia funding committee awarded a total of €2,823,802.00 in grants to 43 projects. While the majority of this amount will go towards film and series productions, four games will also receive almost €280,000 in support.

Digital Cauldron, based in Marklohe, will receive up to €142,552 in production funding for Danger Island. This multiplayer survival game sees players stranded on a desert island. Their goal is to survive and build a raft to escape. However, the biggest problem is that one of the team members has gone mad and is trying to stop the others from leaving.

Three more games will receive funding for concept development. Rabauken: Spirit Resort. In this management game, players take on the role of managing and building a magical bathhouse using an idle game approach. €20,000 will go to Stelzer Technologies UG from Braunschweig for Lysendral: Im Namen des Lichts (In the Name of Light). This narrative mystery adventure game focuses on light and shadow puzzles, and the exploration of a historical fantasy city. Up to €16,873 will go to Louisa Finnigan (Cross Fox Games) from Hanover for Ghoul Graveyard, a nostalgic twin-stick shooter with modern graphics that captures the spirit of the PlayStation 2 era.
