Formative gaming memories are a funny thing. For Luciana Viganò, President of the Swiss Game Game Developers Association (SGDA), her’s carries the touch of the forbidden. “My sisters and I were not allowed to play video games at home — which of course meant that we played them anyway, just at our friends’ places”, she laughs. The corpus delicti was Super Mario on a GameBoy; easily port- and hidable. Later on, when games finally moved into her home, Viganò has fond memories of playing WiggleWorks on their iMac.
