Games Forged in Germany - All Announcements From the Showcase

The Games Forged in Germany event started with a showcase featuring loads of games from Germany. There was new stuff from Headup, Friedemann, astragon, Mooneye, HandyGames, Reakktor and numerous other companies.

The Games Germany Steam Sale is now in its fourth iteration. Following three successful years, the 2025 Steam event opened yesterday with a showcase event on Steam. Numerous announcements were made at the event. Following the release of Summerhouse, independent developer Friedemann and publisher Future Friends Games (CloverPit, The Cabin Factory) have announced Slots & Daggers, a slot machine roguelike adventure game, that will be available on PC later this year. Future Friends Games was also showcasing Kibu, a game developed by Studio Inkyfox (Omno).

Headup has made two announcements. Look Mum No Computer, a twin-stick shooter action-RPG created by The Bitfather, is now available on Steam, the Epic Games Store and GOG. The Publisher from Düren and Team Warriors have revealed a publishing deal for the co-op title Royal Revolt Survivors, which combines survival and action-roguelite genres. In addition, Industria 2 from Bleakmill and Super Meat Boy 3D from Sluggerfly and Team Meat were also featured in the showcase.

On 9 September 2025, Firefighting Simulator: Ignite will be released for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Publisher astragon Entertainment and developer studio weltenbauer. have released the Rescue Trailer, which highlights the pivotal role of the fire department in saving lives. The new firefighting simulation will be showcased for the first time at gamescom. A new trailer of Seafarer: The Ship Sim has been released, which reveals the fleet of ships that will be available at the launch of Early Access this year.

The Steam demo of the flight simulator G-Rebels is now available. Indie developer Reakktor Studios and publisher Senatis invite players to take off on their first test flight. The demo offers an early opportunity to experience the game's aerial combat and introduces the fundamentals of Skyblades. It also includes selected missions set in the cyberpunk metropolis Daevos and a hidden race for players who meet the necessary qualifications. The game will be presented at gamescom in Hall 10.2, Stand G-Rebels (Home of Indies).
