The Games Germany Steam Sale is entering its fourth iteration. Following three successful years, the 2025 Steam event opens on 24 July at 7 pm with a showcase event on Steam. The event features more than 350 games developed in Germany.

From 24 to 31 July, more than 350 games developed in Germany will be part of the "Games Forged in Germany" event on Steam (event website). Once again, this year's list features well-known games and award-winning studios, including recipients of the German Computer Game Award and the German Developer Award.

The event will once again kick off with a showcase on Steam on 24 July at 7.30 pm. Selected trailers will also be available to watch on the IGN YouTube channel. GameStar will be discussing the showcase live, too.

'With the Steam Sale, Games Germany is giving developers the opportunity to increase the international reach and awareness of their games. According to Valve, the platform's operator, Steam has over 69 million active users every day," said the organiser. The Steam Sale is an initiative of Games Germany, an association of German games promotion and networking institutions. Games Germany aims to showcase the diversity of German games worldwide and support studios in distributing their games.
