13 years to the first billion, 5 years to the second. The Hamburg-based game developer InnoGames reached €2 billion in lifetime revenues thanks to the strong, evergreen IPs.

InnoGames, one of the leading German developers and publishers of browser and mobile games, has reached €2 billion in total lifetime revenues. With revenues of over €1 billion, the studio's flagship title Forge of Empires has made the biggest contribution to the success, followed by Tribal Wars, Grepolis and Elvenar with €200+ million each.

Hendrik Klindworth, CEO of InnoGames: "We continue to be one of the few companies that manage to offer players around the world long-lasting gaming fun on both PC and mobile devices. The success of our classic games is not only continuing, but in some cases even accelerating. I would like to thank our loyal and passionate players who have made these titles a part of their lives. In view of the best mobile launch in the company's history and the current figures, I am convinced that Heroes of History will also become evergreen. Thanks to its exciting mix of City Builder and Hero Collection RPG, its massive scale and a pipeline of fresh content and events, it is poised for sustained success."

99% of InnoGames' revenues since 2007 have been generated through in-app purchases, the rest from in-app advertising. The strongest markets in terms of revenue have been USA, Germany and France.

Between 2007 and 2019, 27% of revenues came from mobile. This figure has increased to 43% between 2020 and today, which demonstrates the success of InnoGames long-term growth strategy in the mobile segment.

InnoGames was founded in 2007 and is now part of Modern Times Group (MTG). Together with about 350 employees from 40 nations. Most recently, InnoGames launched Cozy Coast, a feel-good beach adventure with merge-2-gameplay.
