My.Games Launches New Publishing Division for Third-Party Mobile Games
My.Games has consolidated its third-party mobile game publishing efforts into a dedicated department: MGVC Publishing. The Amsterdam-based publisher leverages its extensive expertise with a clear vision for the types of games it aims to support.
The division's first releases are already on the market, including Fable Town by Reef Games Studio, Battle Prime by Press Fire Games Limited, Days After by ReactGames Studios, and Combat Quest by ChillBase. While My.Games has previously collaborated with third-party developers, MGVC Publishing now brings these activities under one cohesive umbrella.
"Today’s mobile market realities and new challenges demand fresh approaches. Complex user acquisition strategies require deep expertise and nuanced publishing and operational improvements that, together, can elevate projects to new heights. At MGVC Publishing, we believe in creating win-win partnerships that drive mutual success. With over six years of experience building strong relationships with independent studios, the MGVC team is a unique partner in the industry, committed to helping studios achieve breakthrough results," said Nikita Matsokin, Executive Director of MGVC.
The MGVC Publishing team is made up of experienced professionals who emphasize a fair, win-win approach for developers. Their boutique strategy focuses on transparency, 360-degree support, and marketing expertise. They also promise revenue growth beyond traditional channels by exploring alternative income streams, including direct-to-consumer payments, alternative app stores, web-based game versions, and expansion into Asian markets.
As part of My.Games’ venture capital subsidiary MGVC, the new publishing division has a clear focus: supporting soft-launched or market-ready projects, with a particular interest in games developed in Asia for expansion into Western markets. MGVC Publishing intentionally avoids genre restrictions, aiming to offer diverse opportunities for innovative projects. The new publishing units are a further building block with which My.Games is positioning itself as a broad-based publisher. The creation of a division for premium games was announced in the summer, and the experienced industry managers Mario Gerhold, Jan-Eric Lauble and Eugenio Vitale were also brought on board for this.
