Six out of ten teams from the current cohort of the Media Start-up Centre NRW are led by women. And five of these were founded by former participants in the MGZsheroes programme. For the MGZ, this is clear evidence that its empowerment and coaching programme for FLINTA individuals from NRW is bearing fruit. The MGZsheroes programme offers six months of practice-oriented seminars, individual mentoring and curated networking to support FLINTA individuals who wish to start a business in the media, creative or games industries in NRW.

The programme itself begins on 20 May with a kick-off meeting and ends in October 2026. The application period runs until 3 May. Full details about MGZsheroes can be found on the MGZ website (in German).
