Xbox Cloud Gaming Coming to Select Amazon Fire TV Devices
The Xbox app will be available on select Amazon Fire TV devices in July. Players with an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate membership will be able to play games via cloud gaming.
Microsoft announced a collaboration with Amazon. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members in over 25 countries (not specified) can play games directly from the Xbox app on select Fire TV devices via cloud gaming. In July 2024, the Xbox app will be available on the Fire TV Stick 4K Max (2023) and Fire TV Stick 4K (2023). To get started, players need one for the Fire TV Sticks, a Bluetooth-enabled wireless controller, and an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Membership. Controllers like the Xbox Wireless Controller, Xbox Adaptive Controller, PlayStation DualSense, or DualShock 4 controller are compatible. Without an active Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Membership, only Fortnite is playable. In addition: The Xbox app is available on select Samsung smart TVs, which also offers cloud gaming.

She also taps into the popularity of the Fallout series, which is also available on Amazon Prime Video. "Plus, Bethesda Game Studios' beloved Fallout games are also available with Game Pass Ultimate, including Fallout 76 and Fallout 4. Fallout fans will be able to play these games on select Amazon Fire TV devices alongside the acclaimed Fallout TV show on Prime Video, which released in April."
