Heroes of History by InnoGames Launches Worldwide

InnoGames has released Heroes of History for iOS and Android as a mobile app. A browser version with cross-play feature, allowing seamless switching between PC and mobile game, will be released later this year.

InnoGames has released Heroes of History. The new strategy city-building game from the experienced Hamburg game studio is now available on the App Store and Google Play Store. Heroes of History has been tested in selected regions and has been rated 4.7 out of 5 stars on the App Store in the UK and Australia.

The overwhelming positive feedback from players confirmed that the mix of city-building, hero-collection RPG, and competitive PvP elements truly resonates with the community. Now, it's time to bring Heroes of History to city-building fans worldwide and take them on an exciting journey through history," said Christian Reshöft, Chief Product Officer of InnoGames.

A browser version of the game will be released later this year. InnoGames will offer players the flexibility to seamlessly switch between the browser and app versions, similar to Forge of Empires and Rise of Cultures.

InnoGames is one of Germany's leading developers of mobile and browser games. The Hamburg-based company was founded in 2007 and is now part of the Modern Times Group (MTG). InnoGames is best known for Forge of Empires, Elvenar and Tribal Wars, but the company continues to expand its portfolio of 10 games across platforms and genres. Recent additions, alongside Heroes of History, include Rise of Cultures and Sunrise Village, which were launched in early 2022.

InnoGames describes Heroes of History as follows: "Players start in the Stone Age and convert an initial small settlement into a flourishing metropolis over the ages. Along the way, they embark on an exciting time-travel campaign to save humanity from disaster. Fortunately, players receive assistance from a brilliant mind: Albert Einstein himself guides players through the PvE adventures. In PvP mode, a wide array of historical characters and heroes from mythology are ready for battle. From Hercules and Medusa to Joan of Arc, over 70 renowned characters, each with their distinct abilities, await their call to action."
