Mooneye Studios from Hamburg, makers of Lost Ember and Smushi Come Home, have reached a milestone of 300,000 wishlists for their upcoming game Ikuma - The Frozen Compass on Steam.

“We’re so happy to have reached this important milestone. It’s not even been a year since we revealed Ikuma at the Triple-I showcase. Knowing that 300k players are looking forward to our game is also a huge motivation boost for the team. We cannot wait to show more of our world, but we’re not ready to nail down a release date just yet”, says CEO Tobias Graff in a statement to GamesMarkt.

Ikuma will release on PC, Xbox and PlayStation some time in 2026. In the game, a boy becomes stranded in the Arctic with his dog. Players can either switch between the two in exploring the environment, or play in two-player coop.
