Six months before the next MAG-C, the community event, which will also be implemented in 2026 with Crexpro as the lead agency, is setting an important course. The focus is on innovative formats, more indie games and a larger cosplay area.

The goal is clear: Messe Erfurt wants to build on the success of this year's MAG-C in 2026 and once again create a meeting place for the manga, anime, gaming and cosplay scene. With just over six months to go before MAG-C 2026, which will take place on 31 January and 1 February, important steps have now been taken to ensure that this goal is achieved.

It has been confirmed that MAG-C will continue to be supported by Crexpro as the lead agency next year. Crexpro is responsible for the technical and organisational implementation. The focus next year will also be on innovative formats. Among other things, an expanded indie area, a larger cosplay area and new workshop offerings for all age groups are planned.

Competitions will also play a major role again. Among other things, a cosplay championship, a show cup, the Indie Game Award, a photo competition and a videography competition are planned.
