The studio's most recent projects include work with Nacon (Garden Life), astragon Entertainment (Tram Simulator Urban Transit, Bus Simulator 21, Bus Simulator 18, Drone Swarm), and Aerosoft (Rescue HQ).
Saber Interactive is a global publisher and developer with 13 studios across the Americas and Europe. Apart from developing games such as Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, John Carpenter's Toxic Commando and Jurassic Park: Survival, Turok: Origins, World War Z and A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead, they also have vehicle simulations in their publishing line-up, including SnowRunner, Expeditions: A MudRunner Game and RoadCraft.
"After Bus Simulator 21 Next Stop, we took a step back to evaluate what our fans truly wanted in a bus driving experience," said Julian Mautner, Studio Head of stillalive studios. "With Bus Bound, we focused on making the core experience - how the bus feels, how the city engages with the player - fun in a way that’s easy to pick up for new players while still engaging for our core audience."
Bus Bound is set to be released on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Set in Emberville, the game features a fully simulated town with a dynamic traffic system and distinct day/night and weather conditions. Players can drive authentic American buses, including the New Flyer Xcelsior 40ft CNG and the Blue Bird Sigma. More than a dozen vehicles will be available at launch. "Bus Bound delivers an accessible and authentic driving experience for bus enthusiasts and driving fans of all kinds. Hop into the driver's seat of over a dozen real-world licensed vehicles with genuine customizable details and variable bus controls for different playstyles. With each shift, you'll earn new perks, unlock new routes and buses, level up bus stops, and more while transforming the city around you into a more pedestrian-friendly environment for all to enjoy," the developers said.
