Deck13 Spotlight Signs Forge of the Fae

Deck13 Spotlight has announced that the JRPG Forge of the Fae will be joining its publishing portfolio. Developed by Datadyne, the game is a fitting addition to the company's portfolio, which includes CrossCode and Chained Echoes.
Following the success of CrossCode and Chained Echoes, Deck13 Spotlight, the indie publishing division of Deck13, has secured another JRPG: Forge of the Fae from Datadyne. Set in a world inspired by 19th-century Ireland, Forge of the Fae plunges players into a narrative of conflict between humans and the fae. Drawing inspiration from classic JRPGs, the game features a turn-based combat system in which strategy reigns supreme and players' decisions influence the outcome of the story.
"Forge of the Fae is a perfect match for us. Even in its early stages it is incredibly well crafted and pulls all the right triggers. Working with Datadyne over the last couple of weeks also showed us what an amazing team is building this masterpiece," says Michael Hoss, Head of Product at Deck13 Spotlight.
"We have found a reliable partner with Deck13 Spotlight. Not only do they fully understand the vision of the game but they also know the JRPG market so well. We are super excited for the upcoming journey," added David Schooley from Datadyne.
Forge of the Fae is set to be released in 2027 for PC and consoles. A demo is currently available on Steam, and the game will be playable at the Indie Arena Booth during this year's gamescom in Cologne and Tokyo Game Show.
