Keen Games Celebrates Four Million Enshrouded Players
Since its Early Access launch in January 2024, Keen Games' Enshrouded has attracted more than four million players. The team welcomes the "almost overwhelming" suggestions and ideas for improvement.
Keen Games has announced that over four million people have played Enshrouded. The game has been available for purchase in Early Access on PC since 24 January 2024. It is not part of any subscription service. The game reached one million players in four days, two million in one month, and three million at the beginning of August 2024.
There have been five major content updates, seven patches and over 20 hotfixes since launch. Despite this, players have provided an "almost overwhelming" number of suggestions and ideas for further improvements, according to Keen Games' Creative Director Antony Christoulakis. "It's impossible to answer them all, so instead, we'll just say 'thank you so very much' and organize them by how often or how passionately they are requested to influence the game's overall direction while under development."
During the Triple I showcase, Keen Games gave a sneak peek at the upcoming Thralls of Twilight content update, revealing new enemies, weapon customisation mechanics, and enhancements to the night cycle, with more details to come before launch in May.
Enshrouded 1.0 is expected to arrive on PC and consoles in Spring 2026.
