Plaion Releases Nobody Wants to Die
Nobody Wants to Die, the interactive noir story from Critical Hit and German publisher Plaion, is available digitally today on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
German publisher Plaion will release Nobody Wants to Die today in digital form for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The game from Critical Hit Games, founded in 2020 in Wroclaw, Poland, is the studio's first project and presents an interactive noir story set in a dystopian New York City that explores themes of immortality and the dangers of transhumanism. As Detective James Karra, players will be able to investigate crime scenes using time manipulation and advanced technology to uncover clues and unmask a killer in an era where death is a thing of the past.
"Since the beginning, we've wanted to create a visually spectacular narrative driven game," says Critical Hit Games CEO and Lead Game Designer, Grzegorz Goleń. "Our small, passionate and experienced team have used Unreal Engine 5 to create an incredibly realistic environment and world. We can’t wait for players to lose themselves in Nobody Wants to Die’s sci-fi world."
"We wanted to make a thought-provoking narrative for our players," says Critical Hit Games’ Lead Writer, Marcin Grembowicz. "We created the world of Nobody Wants to Die by only making one metaphysical change - the possibility for consciousness transfer. To inspire players to think about contemporary values, the rules of the world and what is important in life. We are really trying to create a heightened experience for our players."
