Xbox is bringing another PC and Xbox exclusive to PlayStation 5, and this time it's a real heavyweight. Forza Horizon 5 will be released on Sony's console in spring 2025.

With more than 40 million players on PC and Xbox, one of the most successful and popular Xbox games is coming to PlayStation 5 in spring 2025. Developed by Panic Button in partnership with Turn 10 Studios and Playground Games, the PS5 version of Forza Horizon 5 will feature the same content as the Xbox and PC versions of the game. All previously released themed game updates (40+), car packs, the Hot Wheels and Rally Adventure expansions and cross-play will be available. There are also unconfirmed rumours that the game will be released on the Nintendo Switch 2. Panic Button has previously worked on the port of Forza Horizon 4 for Xbox Series X|S, as well as many Switch ports, including Doom Eternal, Wolfenstein: Youngblood, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, and Warframe.

It is the biggest release for an Xbox game on PlayStation 5 to date after Sea of Thieves. Playground Games: "In addition to bringing Forza Horizon 5 to PS5, we're working on a special new free content update for all platforms, Horizon Realms. Realms will give players the chance to explore a curated collection of some of the community's favorite previously released Evolving Worlds, alongside some other surprises."
