Nordic Game 2025 is a meeting place for games industry professionals from the Nordic countries, but many people from German-speaking countries are also in Malmö. Here are some photos and impressions from the event.

NG25 Spring aka the Nordic Game Conference is the leading games conference in Europe. Gathering thousands of industry professionals in the spring each year, Nordic Game is the "home turf" meeting place for game developers of Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden.

However, it's not only exhibitors, companies and individual professionals from the Nordic countries who are capitalising on the relaxed and unhurried atmosphere at Malmö's historic Slagthuset venue. Returning exhibitors include Gamecity Hamburg and medianet berlinbrandenburg, who are sharing a stand again and each bringing four indie studios to gain experience at such events and establish contacts with publishers. Swiss Games (Pro Helvetia) has also travelled to the event with seven games/studios.

Also among the attendees are Christiane Gehrke (Factory-C), Markus Wilding (Beyond the Wall Consulting), Dieter Marchsreiter (Marchsreiter Communications), Zoran Roso (Zoran Roso Consulting) and Michael Schade (Rockfish Games), as well as Christian Szymanski (Second Stage), Prof. Dr. Malte Behrmann, to name just a few.

The floor plan for Nordic Game 2025 is more streamlined than last year's: the previously crowded Indie Gallery is now located entirely within the Showcase Hall. There is now a more appropriately located stage in the Gallery (Gallerian). Nevertheless, last year felt more crowded overall. Giants Software, for example, is not participating this year.

The joint Gamecity Hamburg and medianet berlinbrandenburg stand in the expo area is one of the largest on the Nordic Game 2025 show floor.
Gamecity Hamburg showcases indie games from Hamburg (Card Buster (Bagpack Games + Vikka Games) / Light of Atlantis (Duck’n’Run Games) / NeverLight (Nightless Games) / Replicore (Amberdive Interactive)) and promotes the Portside Game Assembly
medianet berlinbrandenburg presented four indie games (Summer Camp (Telescope Game Studios) / Knights Ascendant (Fire & Forge Studios) / Seaward (The Roof Interactive) / Net.Attack() (ByteRockers' Games)) and also drew attention to the House of Games in Berlin, which is scheduled to open in 2026.
