Following Hathora's decision to shift its focus to AI infrastructure, Nitrado and Hathora are collaborating to facilitate the organised transition of Hathora customers to Nitrado's GameFabric platform. The aim is to provide technical support to ensure a smooth migration process for studios and game operators while maintaining business as usual. Hathora's decision reflects a shift in company focus, rather than a reduction in the importance of multiplayer infrastructure for game developers.

This collaboration is intended to provide studios and game operators with a clear path forward, offering hands-on migration support. "Supporting developers through infrastructure transitions is ultimately about protecting game stability and player continuity," said Raphael Stange, CEO of Nitrado. "Our focus is to make this process practical, well-managed, and risk-free for teams that choose to move to GameFabric. We look forward to working closely with Hathora customers and supporting their games with the care and reliability they need during this transition."

GameFabric is designed for orchestrating multiplayer game servers. Nitrado's team will work directly with customers during the transition to review current setups, map key workflows and define migration plans tailored to the requirements of each game. With more than two decades of experience in game server hosting and multiplayer infrastructure, Nitrado has a proven track record of supporting renowned studios such as Bohemia Interactive, CCP Games, Studio Wildcard and Eleventh Hour Games. Through GameFabric, Nitrado provides infrastructure for both session-based and persistent server environments.
