No Fewer Than Seven Game Sales Awards Were Handed out at the End of 2025
Seven games received a game Sales Award in December 2025. No other month last year saw so many awards presented by game – the German Games Industry Association. Nintendo alone received four of these awards.
In December 2025, game - the German Games Industry Association honoured seven video games with a game Sales Award for particularly strong sales in Germany. The racing game Mario Kart World, released exclusively for the Nintendo Switch 2 launch in June, reached the milestone of selling over 600,000 copies in Germany, earning it the Multi-Platinum Sales Award.
