The largest grant, totalling just under €298,290, has been awarded to grownarts (Florian Haase) from Brake for the production of Paws and Leaves - A Last Tale. In the game, players control a young fox who has been bitten by a snake and is slowly dying. During his final journey, players relive his memories.
A grant of €100,000 has been awarded to 1000 Orks from Osnabrück for the development of a prototype for Proxies, a cooperative hack-and-slash game with an extraction loop. Up to four players explore an underground station, collect rewards and fight their way back to the surface against hordes of enemies.
Thomas Kronenberg from Hildesheim has also received funding for the production and prototype development of Ludberg (WT). This classic-style interactive cozy crime adventure game sees players take on the role of a police officer investigating the death of a stranger. What starts as a routine case escalates into a supernatural adventure in the tranquil, quirky town of Ludberg.
A total of €20,000 each is intended for the concept development of two games. One recipient is Quantumfrog from Oldenburg for Pumuckl: Adventure in Brazil. Following a curious mishap, the 'Kobold' (translating as 'goblin' really doesn't do this charming little character justice) finds himself in Brazil, where he crosses paths with Captain Krimskrams and Krakula once again. The studio recently developed Pumuckl und die Krone des Piratenkönigs (Pumuckl and the Pirate King’s Crown). Fair Foundation by Ruben Christian Buhl from Harsefeld is also receiving €20,000. This is a cooperative couch multiplayer experience for up to four players. Together, players construct buildings, gather resources and create new living spaces for the residents of their growing settlement.
