After Seven Years of Development, Leif's Adventure Will Be Released
Leif's Adventure: Netherworld Hero will be released on 19 December after seven years in development. The game is being developed by Hamburg-based indie developer OneManOnMars Art & Games.
International publisher Mindscape and German indie developer OneManOnMars Art & Games will publish Leif's Adventure: Netherworld Hero for PC, PlayStation and Switch on 19 December 2024. "After more than seven years of hard work, it feels unreal to finally be able to announce a release date! I'm beside myself with excitement that the real adventure can now begin," said Roman Fuhrer, the sole developer behind the game. He was also supported by freelancers Jan Schaumlöffel (LTT Bird / Sound Design) and Patrick Henschel (Unity Developer and Engineer).
Leif's Adventure is a story-driven, cooperative 2D action adventure that celebrates the power of friendship and draws inspiration from Nordic folklore. In the game, players must defend their village of Hammerfall from a mysterious evil invasion. It can be played solo or co-operatively with a friend, seamlessly switching between Leif and his loyal sidekick Ghost, each with unique abilities.
