Medien.Bayern is expanding its capacities in the field of games for its major project Gamerei. The search for a new team lead for Games/Bavaria has begun.

Further changes are planned for Games/Bavaria in the coming weeks. Medien.Bayern is launching a search for a new team leader for Games/Bavaria. The position has already been held on an interim basis by Medien.Bayern Managing Director Lina Timm since summer 2023. Simone Watzinger, most recently head of games strategy, also left Medien.Bayern on 30 June.

As Timm explained to GamesMarkt, Games/Bayern is excellently positioned within its projects. In addition, further capacities will be added, especially for the realisation of the new major project "Die Gamerei". Die Gamerei is a recently launched, publicly funded office space for Bavarian games companies.
