PC Games enters the year 2025 with a newly formed leadership team. Tobias Meyer and Tobias Tengler-Boehm are taking on key roles with a focus on optimising reach and cross-platform growth.

PC Games, the flagship brand of Computec's internal Games Group, enters 2025 with a newly formed leadership team. Tobias Meyer, previously video editor, takes on the role of Games Group Editorial Director and will be responsible for the strategic direction of the editorial team. He will now focus on connecting the editorial team more closely with the PC Games brand through a personality campaign. The aim is to make the team's content available to a wider audience across the website, video platforms and social media, and to develop PC Games as an opinion leader.

"In my new role as Editorial Director, I look forward to working with the team to further develop the PC Games brand. With our focus on personality content, we will continue to develop PC Games as a cross-platform destination for gaming fans. It is the faces and people behind the content that inspire with their authentic stories. This not only brings us closer to our community, but also strengthens the identity and reach of PC Games," says Tobias Meyer.

Tobias Tengler-Boehm has been appointed Lead Editor News. He will continue to expand the high-reach news content in the areas of games, movies, series, technology, gadgets and entertainment. His goal is to increase the performance of pcgames.de and to further optimise the relevance and timeliness of the content creation. "I would like to express my gratitude for the trust and the always constructive and inspiring cooperation. Together with our excellent team, which makes valuable contributions on a daily basis, we will make PC Games even more widely popular,' says Tengler-Boehm.

Lukas Schmid, who heads the Games Group since 2022, is optimistic about the future: "With Tobias Meyer and Tobias Tengler-Boehm, two very committed employees are taking over the key positions in our team and will play a decisive role in shaping the future of PC Games with their experience, creativity and great creative drive. Together with Sascha Lohmüller as Head of Print Editorial and Dominik Pache as Head of Video Editorial, our management team is now excellently positioned to build on PC Games' strong market position - for an even more successful future for the website, videos and social media."
