The new management structure of Nintendo of Europe has been finalised. Luciano Pereña succeeds Stephan Bole as Chairman of the Board, CEO and President of Nintendo of Europe. Frank Rittinghaus will be the new Managing Director of European Marketing & D2C Business. The company has now completed the reorganisation of all its European subsidiaries.

Nintendo of Europe SE has announced changes to its management structure. Luciano Pereña has been appointed Chairman of the Management Board, Chief Executive Officer and President, effective 1 September 2024. His appointment follows the decision of Stephan Bole, who has decided to end his full-time professional career and leave the company after more than 35 years with Nintendo. Stephan Bole has been President of Nintendo of Europe since 2018.

As of 1 September 2024, the restructured management team of Nintendo of Europe will be as follows.

  • Luciano Pereña, Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President. Luciano Pereña began his career at Nintendo in February 1994 and has been Chief Financial Officer of Nintendo of Europe since 2018.
  • Laurent Fischer, Chief Operating Officer. Laurent Fischer joined the Nintendo France marketing team in 1998. He was Managing Director of Nintendo of Europe from 2006 to 2015 and has been Chief Marketing Officer since 2018.
  • Tom Enoki, Senior Managing Director of the Corporate Planning Office. Tom Enoki became part of the senior management team at Nintendo of Europe in 2022.

In addition, Frank Rittinghaus has been appointed Managing Director of European Marketing & Direct-to-Consumer Business for Nintendo of Europe. He will be succeeded by Frédéric Michaux as General Manager of Nintendo Benelux.

Nintendo has recently completed the reorganisation of all its European subsidiaries into a single organisation, Nintendo of Europe SE. All local subsidiaries will remain in place (Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, UK, France, The Netherlands, Belgium, Spain and Portugal).
