Envision Entertainment will finish the Early Access phase of Pioneers of Pagonia this year, including the promised campaign.

The medieval fantasy city builder Pioneers of Pagonia is set to launch on Steam for PC on 11 December 2025. Nearly two years after its Early Access launch, developer and publisher Envision Entertainment will release the full version, which includes the story campaign. The roughly 30-hour story campaign can be played alone or in shared co-op mode with up to four players.

Envision Entertainment: "The medieval continent has been shattered into thousands of islands, and a thick fog has settled over the land, Scavs lurk alongside mysterious dangers such as werewolves, ghosts, and the Malthorns. Now the players set out to lift the fog, overcome economic and topographical challenges, defeat enemy leaders, and reunite the Pagonians. Support for the campaign was also provided by German fantasy author and avid gamer Janika Hoffmann, who designed the story idea and dialogues in close collaboration with the team to fit the existing world."

A public beta for the soon-to-be-available map editor will be launched even before the release in December. The recently released "Major Economy Update" expands the core gameplay mechanics around building a Pagonian village, allowing players to start the game with just a few Pagonians and no supplies. The updated tutorial map provides a straightforward introduction to the new gameplay experience.
